  • Zain

    SPONSORSHIP OFFICER

Hi, I’m Zain, a Junior Medical Officer working across Hunter New England Health and a graduate of the Joint Medical Program in Newcastle. I have an interest in research, particularly in head and neck oncology, and enjoy being involved in initiatives that support junior doctors. Outside of work I like staying active, learning about other fields, and not working 🥸

Hello! I’m Otto, I’m a JMP graduate & I’m excited to be working across Hunter New England Health. I’m passionate about critical care, medical education, and infection control. On the rare day off I love to be outside, I’m a big fan of hiking, camping and surfing.

  • Sas

Hey I’m Sas, the IT/communications officer for HRMOA this year. I’ll keep you updated on all our amazing events and fundraisers on our website and socials :)

I am always down to chat so please say hi if you see me around the hospital or have any tips on how to play the bass!

  • Jon

    EDUCATION OFFICER

Hey! My name's Jon, and I'm the education officer for HRMOA. Tired of those pesky sepsis pathways or fluid charting educational sessions? I'm here to change that. We've got application, interview and research nights coming up this year, as well as small tweaks to make weekly education higher yield. Hit me up with feedback or suggestions at any point too!

  • Bella

    ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

Hey, I’m Isabella Pearson, a proud Kamilaroi woman working mainly on Awabakal land this year as a PGY2.
This year I’m excited to transition from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Officer to the Environmental Representative role. I’m passionate about protecting our environment and creating a healthier future for our patients and generations to come. Climate change disproportionately affects our most vulnerable communities, and I believe that caring for the environment is an essential part of healthcare. Outside of the hospital, you’ll usually find me with friends, hiking, camping, or swimming in the ocean.
